90th Anniversary

90 years ago in 1927, the Sisters of Mercy established St Joseph’s School and it is the oldest operating Catholic primary school in Cairns. Since this time, it has grown and developed to be a place of high quality education for many families across the Cairns region. In August of 2017, we celebrate St Joseph’s School turning 90.

Events will include:

Friday 18 August 2017 – School Celebrations

9.00am Whole School Mass

Followed by Morning Tea and cutting of the Anniversary Cake with a whole school picnic on the oval

Open Classrooms

Games and Activities in the afternoon

Friday Evening 18 August 2017 – “A Night of Chance”

Bingo and other games from 7.00pm until late

Saturday Evening 19 August – An Evening of Celebration – A Night to Reunite

Sunday 20 August – Mass at St Joseph’s Church

8.30am Mass followed by Morning Tea in the school hall

Open Classrooms – All Welcome to attend
