The St Joseph’s School Board is highly supportive of the work that the school staff do and work in a complementary way to the Parents and Friends Association. The School Board comprises nominated parents, Parish Priest, Principal and staff representatives.
This group provides support for the Principal in policy development, finance, curriculum, capital development and strategic planning of the school. The school board regularly seeks feedback from the wider parent body on topics which pertain to the continual renewal of the school.
In this way, all parents have the opportunity to have a voice. Data gathered then informs future planning and practice.
