St Joseph's is a caring, innovative, co-educational, multicultural and inner-city school where everyone is welcome and everyone matters. Established in 1927 by the Sisters of Mercy, St Joseph's has proudly served the Cairns region for over 80 years.
Our goal is to enable students to develop the skills they will need to be successful in life. We are a school that nurtures healthy spirits, minds and bodies.
The school currently has an enrolment of around 380 students and offers a Catholic Education for students from Prep to year 7.
St Joseph's is a registered provider for overseas students and so we welcome students from all over the world..
